Hi,

first of all, I'd suggest you to set up a development environment,
then it depends on what your interest are. Would you rather working in
kernel space (drivers for example) or applications in user space?

Have a look at the bug tracker ( http://dev.haiku-os.org/ ) and see if
you find a bug you think you can fix and start working on it. Then
provide a patch to the mailing list. Make sure to follow coding
guidelines.

Welcome on board! ;-)

Salvo
