Actually, if you really want to entertain yourself for the next
several months, why don't you try and port the GNUStep libraries and
runtime to work on Haiku? Concentrate on foundation stuff, and let the
graphical stuff for a later moment. This way I'm sure you'll
familiarise yourself with a lot of the Haiku code, and we could
benefit from being compatible with a lot of GNUStep stuff, not to
mention eventual compatibility with Mac OS X stuff.
Just a small suggestion for a pretty ambitious task :)
You remind me to one of my best friend, one day he tried to port GNUStep
libraries under his r5/MAx (I'm not sure, I can't remember it), that he got it
from me, but he could never finish it, because he was died after he get hit by
a truck on the way he went home from our campus. But well i'll think that's a
good idea but this time I dont have any source of GNUStep distribution, but
i'll get it, just for gathering another experience :-)
thanks,
isma
