"-j1" is actually a no-op, since jam (Perforce' and ours) has a default of
one process, anyway. It doesn't even contain code to analyze how many
processors a system might have. So, unless you're (accidentially?) using a
different jam, adding this option shouldn't change anything.
Well, I didn look at the jam code at all but I know this works both
under ZETA (Dual PIII) and Linux (Dual P4, 4 cores total). Without -j1
in both platforms I end up with missing icons. With -j1 there is no
problem at all. It is 100% reproducible here (I just tested 4 times
under Linux to be sure). If it is a coincidence, it is a hell of a
coincidence.
