Hello,
I am trying to install GPS version 4.0 patch. I keep getting an error
message "the process cannot access the file because it is been used by
another process"
I am using a Mpower qt, I followed the instructions by holding down (jkl)
and pressing the reset button at the same time.

Just have the file displayed on your unit and hit SPACE-I (READ-I on a
QT). You will see: "application. Size: (file size). Last modified: (a
date; this is what you are looking for). Unprotected". HTH.

received Sendero GPS version 4.0. We had over 15 active beta test
volunteers and still we missed a couple bugs when we released last week.
Chances are that most people wouldn't notice anything but we discovered
and fixed the problem and would like you to have the corrected software.
To avoid the tedius process of sending everyone a full installation
package, we have posted a patch to install over your GPS version 4
software. The patch is the same for the PK or mPower. This patch should
only be necessary for users who received their 4.0 prior to July 23. The
GPS version number will remain 4.0. Here are the steps: 1. Ma
ke sure the new 4.0 software is installed on your BrailleNote.
2. Download the patch at
http://www.SenderoGroup.com/public/Sendero_GPS_4_0_Patch.exe 3. Perform a
3-finger reset and install the patch in the same way as any software.
Make sure you get the confirmation message that it was installed
successfully. 4. Perform a no-key reset. Consult your BrailleNote manual
