Peggy is right on, but with one addition. If you put data files, subfolders, etc. in the "keysoft" system disk, they WILL disappear when the battery does finally go flat.

My BrailleNote's battery appears to be worn out; it will not take a charge. According to Humanware technicians at the NFB Convention, the battery charger is in good shape. I am wondering about the integrity of my files and programs that are stored internally -- including the GPS program. I will check with Humanware, but can anyone tell me whether a fully discharged battery that will not recharge puts me in danger of losing internally stored material?
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
Terrie
