Actually, the way how gGo checks if a game might be a teaching game is very
silly: black name equal to white name
The problem is, this "FI" from the games table is not yet known to gGo when
the game opens, so I cannot use this information when the game is opened.

And probably 99% of the "FI" games are normal unrated games, no review. So
this info is not worth much anyways.

No, not possible. This would be nice, agreed. The variation mode is a very
ugly hack and not trivial. The way variation mode -> navigation mode is
easy, but navigation mode -> variation mode is not, so I do all the setup
when there are no moves yet preparing for the variations. Once there are
already moves in the game, adding the variation storage is difficult. But
this is because of my bad code. :) It *should* be no big mess. The main
reason is, I never designed the IGS games to have variations, only the SGF
editor games. So the whole "give me variations for IGS" now throws some of
the design overboard. Of course, the design could have been better in the
beginning, but i never expected someone wants variations in IGS games. And
having no variations made things *much* easier.

I might clean some things up so this can be done, but that looks like a
some work. So probably nothing done in one evening.
