[freeroleplay] The Open Gaming License

I could rant for hours (OK, maybe not hours) about the Open Gaming
License and the sham WotC is trying to pull on its customers by the
stuff they say about the OGL. First of all, it's copyleft inside-out,
almost guaranteeing not that the game will almost never be totally free.
Second of all, *they* are not using the license for any of their
commercially-published stuff.

But, like the Open Publication License, it seems to me that the OGL
_can_ be a free gaming license - anything defined as Open Game Content
is free, as freeroleplay.org's site says. So anything with no Product
Identity or with appropriately licensed Product Identity would be a Free
Game, wouldn't it?

If the FSF is OK with the Netscape Public License and the Open
Publication License, don't you think the Open Gaming License needs to be
treated similarly?
