An example of what it's doing is this: The category is called "About Our Sauces" I have of course, centered this heading. Right below it, there are several different sauces and their descriptions. This category starts in the middle of page 12. The title, according to duxbury, is on page 12, line 16. However, when I invoke the h3 style, duxbury puts a double blank line and then starts the item and it's description; this item and its description automatically go to page 13. I've done everything i know to do to try to correct this and duxbury will not let me do it!

Hi Fina,

The H3 style is one of the ones that has the "block protect" feature built in. So it will do what you describe, jumping to a new page if there isn't enough room for the whole block on page 12.

You can go to the Document Menu (ALT-D), choose Modify Style, then choose H3 & hit OK. This displays a screen with the starting & ending codes for the H3 style. Here you can delete codes as you would when editing a file. So you can delete the [kps] & [kpe2:2] codes that carry out the block protect feature. As Steve said yesterday this will only affect the way H3 works in the current file.

Or you can choose another style , if we can find one that does whatever you want H3 to do.

Hope this helps a little,

Patrick
