That page should be updated. Dokuwiki is fine running under PHP5.
We patched a few PHP5 specific issues about a year ago, mainly concerned
with stricter parameter requirements on some function calls generating
E_NOTICE messages (or it may have been E_WARNINGs). Even at that time
anyone running with display_errors off (appropriate for a live wiki)
would not have noticed anything.
So, you're good to go.
