I must disagree - maybe you just forget to switch to fulscreen (alt-F11), but
when you do this, it's working fine (I have Opera 9.02 under Mac OS X too).

The style and slides are not working in non-fullscreen view, but everything
looks ok in fullscreen. Switching to next slide is made by space, switching
back shift-space. I did not try it with my MacBook remote yet .-)

But this is really very cool feature.
