I agree with Anika, and infact I would like to disable it because it can
create some trouble pasting text into email or Usenet articles. The best
solution, in my very humble opinion, would be a file like "smileys.conf"
with the characters to convert. Something like:

<<   &laquo;
>>   &raquo;
©    &copy;
...

But I suppose that this would be more difficult to do.

Oh I know but I thought that I should modify the wiki template, since it
is "embedded" into a javascript, and I don't like it, unfortunately as I
already said, I'm not good with PHP (and sorry for my English too :-) ).
