Hi!
Here is the question to everyone: Should we fix the bug or remove the
option for disabling it?
Whoa! Stop! Leave the option, please.
I can give you two reasons:
- Personally, I dislike the typography conversion functionality. It
reminds me too much of M$ Word. Okay, that's not really a reason for
anyone, BUT ...
- Especially if you want to document scripts, etc. you can get really
annoyed by copying and pasting the wrong characters (and causing
errors), just because the "correct characters" are converted into "wrong
characters"!
So, I definitely vote for fixing this thing.
