[dokuwiki] Default index in namespace

Hi Andi and list,
the topic of a default index in namespace has been brought up a few times on
the mailing list[0,1], the wiki[2], and the bugtracker[3].

Bug number 226 has been closed as "Implemented". But scanning through the
darcs commit messages I didn't see any reference to that bug report.
Can you confirm that this feature has indeed been implemented into the just
released version? And if so, where I can find information about it? I seem to
be blind...
