[dokuwiki] Issues List design question

In my wiki, I use the sidebar like template in which we track issues
with the page users look at.
It's just a wiki page with a list of issues.

I'd like to collect all the issues for every page into one table on an
"issues" wiki page as an alternate way of accessing all the issues.
My question is around how to store and access this information most
efficiently as simply as possible.

All the issues wiki pages right now live in it's own namespace
"issues" in which the namespace structure is exactly the same as the
normal wiki pages
The files have the same name as the wiki page itself.
In order to collect all the issues, I could create a plugin that
trawls all the issues in that namespace and
pull them together into one table. Mabye allow controll over what
namespaces to display to somewhat reduce the workd load.
How would I be able to edit each individual file? Is there a better
way to store the data?

Anybody done something like this?
Is there a better way to deal with that?

Thanks in advance for any pointers...martin
