Yes. The snippet creation isn't very efficient speedwise so I restricted
it. If someone could come up with a faster (but UTF-8 aware) method it
would be great.

You don't need the plugin if you can wait ;-) Just browse the pages and
they will be added. However I think adding a script to rebuild the index
would be a good idea. The plugin is useful for people with ACLs enabled.
