I've checked out the link, although I must admit I didn't go into it
in detail as I am not sufficiently familiar with Dokuwiki's
architecture. Interestingly the page says that it is deliberately
UNLIKE MediaWiki, whereas mine is deliberately more LIKE MediaWiki!
So that puts me in a bit of a quandry as I don't really know how these
things work. Should I think "oh, there's another discussions
mechanism, I'll drop my idea", or "I quite like my idea, I'll submit
it anyway", or should I wait for further feedback?
If I submit a change then it would be available for others to try out
and give more definite feedback, and I would presume Andreas makes the
final decision as to whether or not it is incorporated into the final
build.
You can probably tell this is my first foray into contributing to open
source, so your advice would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Steve
PS. Are we supposed to manually add [dokuwiki] to the subject or
should the list add it for us?
