[dokuwiki] can I hide a namespace in index?

When I mark the namespace via admin access lists to be unreadable by the
group ALL and readable only by admin (myself), a user that is not logged
in can still see the namespace in INDEX (as a category) but it is shown
as empty.
Is it possible to hide the namespace (category) itself, so that it won't
be seen in index?
