Yeah, it would be more elegant for a Delete function to make sure no pages
continue to refer to it, and that the user is helped to avoid creating
orphans (files that are only linked to from the to be deleted page). The same
goes for the "just empty the page" method of course. But with a dedicated
function it becomes easier to manage all these aspects in one go.

Btw, the page move plug-in[*] gets close to this. I'd think that a Delete
function could easily be added to that plug-in, or based upon it.
