Check the plugins. There are a few that manage variable
substitution of one sort or another. I haven't used them so don't
know the full details.
Unfortunately the don't :(
I've checked them before (did'nt mention this in my mail, sorry)
without any luck.
Think this is because they only change text in the page, not in links
or other wiki-commands.
However, how are external links build in dokuwiki?
Is there a chance to intercept variable-macros and resolve them ?
