[dokuwiki] POST not send when redirected from namespace

Hi list,
I'm writing a plugin which submits some data via the Doku_Form.
Unfortunately I do send the data to a namespace (space:) without the
startpage behind. DokuWiki does a redirect to space:home - correct so
far - but forgets about the form data.
First the redirect: shouldnt the data be send too?
Second: is it better style to send directly to the page (then it has to
be resolved first).
