Create a user account for the mailing list, then subscribe this "user"
to the root namespace.
At least, that's what I think you're supposed to do. But glancing at the
subscriber_addresslist function, I only see it reading the immediate
namespace's mail list. So would a subscription to A:* not be notified
for changes to A:B:C? I'll try testing it to be sure, but it's probably
a bug that should be fixed before final release.
