Although it's OK with me if "non-persitent meta information" is preserved,
I'd personally be happy if a deleted page was entirely gone--metedata and
all. I wouldn't want or expect a created page to pick up some old info from
a past life. Could it be valid only for a period of time? I suppose it's not
worth worrying about.
