[dokuwiki] Re: Moving a discussion to a new namespace

I did look at the pages for both plugins. They make no mention of any
other plugins, and page_move was written long before the release of the
version of Dokuwiki I am using and the new Discussion plugin, both of
which significantly changed the structure of their meta files. I see no
indication that these, or any of the other plugins, can work together or
with the new meta files.

Subject: [dokuwiki] Re: Moving a discussion to a new namespace
Did you look at the page_move plugin? It allows you to move
pages around and will also copy the meta and other data...martin

I am rearranging some pages, breaking them out into new
namespaces as a
current namespace has become unwieldy. Pages are both
moving to a new
namespace and being renamed, partly due to a new local
guideline that
every namespace must have a 'start' page. Some of those
pages have
discussion threads built with the new Discussion plugin.
Is there any
way to move and re-link those discussion metafiles to
reattach them to
the new pages, either manually or with a bash script?
Example
Page <...:design:stingray> becomes
<...:design:stingray:start>.
We are running Dokuwiki version 2006-11-06.
