I notice that the "Save As" button doesn't work (with left-click or
right-click), i.e. the asterisk remains aginst the document name on
the title bar . Has anyone else noticed this?
When you say it doesn't work, do you mean you don't get the chance
to save a file (i.e. no save dialogue)? that the file is not saved? or
just that the * does not vanish from the title bar?
None of the above. The "Save" button (vs "Save as") works.
It works OK for me.
I have a dim memory of hearing this problem before, but I can't bring to
mind what the solution was, or find the problem in the mail list
archives.
Try "Save StyleSheet" or "Open" from the OP file menu.
The dialogues that open are standard Windows ones supplied by Windows -
you'll find many programs use them. It is possible for them to be
replaced or for them to fail. So it would be interesting to see if they
work from other programs e.g. DPScan.
