Okay I've just tried dropping a small BMP into a OvPro frame, it does

That is interesting. It helps. It now sounds like any use of TransFSI
causes trouble.
David,

I've just dug out another version of TransFSI this one is dated 2002 so
it's inbetween the 1996 and current versions.

That sounds very good. My TransFST wont do this. Please could you let

Alan - are you using TransFSI on a RiscPC or an Iyonix?
An Iyonix my friend > Alan
That may be the source of the problem. In this thread a few days ago I
asked why I could get PNG files to load into OP and CFSI on a VRPC
(RiscOS 4) but not on an Iyonix (RiscOS 5). I got no response ... but
further delving on the Internet led me to the following page:
http://www.iyonix.com/iyonix/features/503notes.shtml
This indicates that RO 5.03 had no PNG support, unlike RiscOS 4 select.
I'm not aware that PNG support has been provided in subsequent versions
of RO5. Does this perhaps explain why neither of us has had any joy with
PNG files and OP/CFSI?
Perhaps someone with more technical knowledge of these matters would
like to comment ...?
