There seems to be a problem with the SRWE Applet. To illustrate:
Define a style called 'red' to change the colour of the target word - set
its scope to 'word'.
Select a target word and enter in the search box
Enter the same target word in the replace box and set 'red' in the drop down
menu
check the 'whole word' box
activate the search and replace process
The result is the target word gets changed and so does the following word.
I tried the same process in RiscOS with varying results - none correct; one
very weird - the intial letter was removed from the target word, a line
space inserted after the word and the following word changed to red.
