There is certainly demand, but how much is it really? David mentions
500 takers. From some of the other figures that have been alluded to
at various times, that is a very significant fraction of the total of
RISC OS users at the present time.
What is needed is a realistic tally of all the "me too's", and how
much they would contribute. Could we reach 200 supporters even? I
would welcome further development of this and other projects that
have been mentioned from time to time, but it is going to cost us.
If the programmers are willing to give it a go, then we should
attempt to start up a scheme as soon as is practicable. If there is
any way I could help then count me in.
