The Bristol Bird Club met Tuesday night and planned participation and field 
parties for the club's three Christmas Bird Counts which will be held beginning 
the weekend after Christmas.

Those attending the BBC December meeting were:  Bill Grigsby, Janice Martin, 
Don Holt, Carol Cross, Larry McDaniel, Janet Brown, David Kirschke, Rob Biller, 
Wallace Coffey, Richard Lewis, Tom McNeil, Rick Knight, Rack Cross, Sam Cross 
and Mike Poe.  The usual pre-meeting Dutch dinner was held at the Mad Greek 
Restaurant.

Glade Spring, VA CBC,  Sat.  Dec. 30 (Ron Harrington compiler:  
RonEHarrin@xxxxxxx )  Ron was not able to attend the meeting due to his wedding 
anniversary dinner at Abingdon.  Details of area assignments were not 
immediately available. Compilation will be held at a social dinner to be held 
in the Emory - Glade Springs vicinity.  Details will be announced.

Raceway Restaurant in Shady Valley at 7 a.m. at the crossroads.  Compilation 
will be conducted by e-mail reports sent from area leaders to the count 
compiler.

Mountain, TN Rt. 91, Orchard Rd., Orchard Bog, Sluder Rd., Wright Forest 
natural area, South of TN Rt. 133 to Birch Branch at Crandull, Dickey Preserve 
of TNC, Fagall Branch, Park Branch, US 421 to Sandy Gap on Iron Mountain, 
northwest face of Iron Mountain Cherokee National Forest).  [Andy Jones], Chris

Mountain, US 421 to crossroads, Winchester Rd., Quarry Rd., Quarry Bog, north

    Area C:  Tom McNeil leader (east and south of Iron Mountain, Shingletown, 
TN. Rt. 91 from Laurel Bloomery to Mountain City, north of US 421 from Sandy 
Gap on Iron Mountain to Mountain City.  Cherokee National Forest southeast 
slopes of Iron Mountain.) Rack Cross.

    Area D:  Don Holt  (substitute for Rick Knight) leader (Tn. Rt. 67 from 
Doeville via Little Doe, Johnson County Airport, Doe Creek, Doe Mountain, 
Cherokee National Forest, Slabtown, southeast of Iron Mountain including US 421 
from Mountain City south toward Boone NC to Midway, TN in Johnson Co.
