[Bristol-Birds] Snow geese lead the squadron

A flock of 9 Canada Geese, flying in a V formation, were seen Sunday escorted
by two Snow Geese flying at the point of the V.
Dave Worley and I saw the birds, Dec 17, from a hilltop overlooking the Middle
Fork of Holston River near Hutton Creek in Washington County, VA, just south of
Chilhowie.
The leading goose was a dark morph (Blue Goose form) of the Snow Goose and the
other a typical white Snow Goose.
It was a beautiful day to be field.
