[Bristol-Birds] Canvasback, Rasar Farm, Elizabethton

Gil Derouen, Reece Jamerson and Bryan Stevens felt very good about finding a
Canvasback at Rasar Farm near Elizabethton in Carter County on Tuesday, Dec.
12, at 4:30 p.m.
Then, when I got home, I had an e-mail from Glen Eller in Galax, Va.
Apparently, a birding friend of Glen's, who lives near Rasar Farm, has seen the
Canvasback already. The duck has been present for a couple of days. Glen wanted
me
to know so I could look for the Canvasback.
And just when you think you've made a good discovery.... :)
It was still a great look at a beautiful Canvasback drake. Also present:
Great Blue Heron and Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
