While visiting my son during the Thanksgiving holidays in Winona MN, which
is on the Mississippi River flyway, we visited the Trempealeau National
Wildlife Refuge across the river in Wisconsin. We saw hundreds of Tundra
swans
resting and feeding on their way to spend the winter in the Chesapeak Bay. It
was an awesome sight! Also saw several Bald eagles. Louise Tilson
