This evening, December 17, while laying a fire for the Christmastide at the 
Blockhouse event at Natural Tunnel State Park, I observed a kestrel wheeling 
over the open field of the blockhouse calling.  The bird flew 4 or 5 circuits 
around the blockhouse area shrieking before it dove back into cover.  I did not 
see an avian predator nearby to startle the bird but it was sure upset.
