[Bristol-Birds] Chipping Sparrow, Black Ducks at Watauga Overlook

On Dec. 8, 2003, I had four Black Ducks on Watauga Lake from the Overlook
near Elizabethton in Carter County, TN.
I was also surprised to find a Chipping Sparrow on the bank in front of the
Overlook. The Chippie was still very much in breeding plumage.
At Wilbur Lake (on the way to the Overlook) were Buffleheads and 8
Ring-necked Ducks.
