Bristol Birders
I am humbled to have been chosen the 2002 Birder of the Year by the Bristol
Bird Club. The award given at tonight's Christmas celebration held at the Fred
and Janice Martin residence was a tremendous highlight to an evening my wife,
oldest daughter and I had already completely enjoyed. My thoughts closely
parallel the sentiments so well spoken by Ron Harrington to begin our evening
as he mentioned the activity of birding is enjoyable as we observe God's
special creatures and our birding experience is made meaningful by sharing this
activity with others and forging relationships with birders. Thank you all for
allowing us to share our birding experiences with you.
