Ron Campbell, a staff photographer with the Johnson City Press
in Northeast Tennessee, has captured a black-and-white photo
of a Northern Cardinal at a local feeder.
Under the caption of "Cardinal sighting" a 2-column, 6-inch deep
black-and white photo of the bird at a feeder appeared on
page 3 in today's (Dec. 6) edition of the Johnson City Press.
The photo cutlines read:
"Cardinals are commonly seen in back yards in the Eastern
half of the United States, including this one at a Johnson City
bird feeder. Attract cardinals to a backyard feeder by
offering sunflower seeds and look closely into the trees, bushes
or brush for the other."
Let's go birding.....
