Area Birders,
A female Purple Finch showed up today at my platform sunflower feeder. The
last Purple Finch that appeared at the feeder was on 11/15/02 when two
females came in to stay for a day or so.

The resident Sharp-shinned made two appearances in my yard today, but he was
unsuccessful in catching his lunch.

Common Grackles, Rusty Blackbirds, Red-winged Blackbirds and a couple of
Brown-headed Cowbirds have shown up at the feeder within the last week in
addition to the regulars.

Enjoy the birds,
Roger Mayhorn
