Boone Lake, Washington & Sullivan Cos., TN
Frontal passage with some rain overnight left a few ducks behind;
but, they will depart as soon as the weather breaks.
Wood Duck - 36
Gadwall - 18
Am. Wigeon - 60
Blue-wg. Teal - 1 drake (late)
N. Shoveler - 8
N. Pintail - 5
Green-wg. Teal - 20
Ring-nk. Duck - 272
Lsr. Scaup - 20
Bufflehead - 31
Hooded Merganser - 1
Ruddy Duck - 87
Com Loon - 2
Pied-billed Grebe - 29
Horned Grebe - 20
Am. Coot - 500+
Ring-billed Gull - 1
The numbers of loons, grebes, & gulls have been very low so far this fall.
Com. Raven - 1 - at Boone's Creek
Still patches of good fall colors, especially hickories (my favorite) & maples.
