Area Birders,
The second Fox Sparrow within a week showed up at our seed feeder today, while
the snow came down. Three Purple Finches also came in, when the small flock of
Common Grackles and the 5 Blue Jays would allow it.
Just before dark the Fox Sparrow was busy scratching in the leaves underneath
the Gooseberry bush. The few Pine Siskins and the single White-crowned Sparrow
that had been hanging around for the last week or so were not to be seen

Enjoy the birds,

Roger Mayhorn
