Place: Sycamore Shoals (Carter Co.) and Shady Valley (Johnson Co.)

Bird spp. highlights:
Sycamore Shoals - 9 species of sparrows: Vesper (at least 5), Savannah,
White-crowned, White-throated, Swamp, Song, Field, and Chipping Sparrows, and
Dark-eyed Junco.
Quarry Bog, Shady Valley - Sora (1 heard in first large patch of cat-tails)
Orchard Bog, Shady Valley - Red-shouldered Hawk (1 imm. in flight)
