[Bristol-Birds] sightings backlog

A few local notes for the record from the last couple of weeks:
Friday, 05 NOV 2004, Clyde Austin 4-H Center, Greene Co., TN, 2 Hermit
Thrushes.
Saturday morning, 06 NOV 2004, Austin Springs in Washington Co., TN, a
Sharp-shinned Hawk and an American Kestrel in a series of aerial encounters.
Sunday, 07 NOV 2004, Weir Dams by Osceola Island on South Holston River in
Sullivan Co., one immature Red-headed Woodpecker.
Monday, 08 NOV 2004, on Jerry Broyles Rd. in Washington Co., TN, an adult
male Merlin, observed in flight and perched in a tree.
Also that same day at Clyde Austin 4-H Center, Greene Co., TN were a
soaring Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a Hermit Thrush in the same spot as 05 NOV.
Tuesday morning, 09 NOV 2004, Jerry Boyles Rd., Washington Co., TN, another
Sharp-shinned Hawk, perched in a tree, and harrassed by Crows until it left.
Wednesday morning, 10 NOV 2004, from Hyder Hill Rd. at Austin Springs in
Washington Co., TN, 2 Least Sandpipers, 1 Dunlin, 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker,
1
Hermit Thrush, and many American Pipits.
Thursday afternoon, 11 NOV 2004, at Musick's Campground in Sullivan Co.,with
Rack and Carol Cross, 2 Bald Eagles were seen, one adult and one sub-adult,
perched on the shore on the Virginia side, then later flying to perch in trees
on the Tennesse side.
Sunday, 8 am, 14 NOV 2004, at Austin Springs, an adult Bald Eagle flew
downriver, disappearing into the fog.
03, 08, 09, & 14 NOV 2004, Keebler Rd., Washington Co., TN, Northern
Harriers, one or two each day. Also regular there during the period were
Savannah
Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, Palm Warbler, Horned Lark, American Pipit,
American Kestrel.
