[Bristol-Birds] House Finch - Crossbill Hybrid Revealed

Area Birders,
I have received several emails concerning the photo of the unusual bird I
posted recently. The bird is really just an unusually marked House Finch with a
deformed bill. I think everyone can see that from three new photos that have
now been posted at
http://www.bcplnet.org/birdclub/gallery/Mystery5.htm
Just scroll down from the original photo to see the other three.
Thanks to all of you who gave your opinions. Many of you were right on the
money.
Enjoy the birds, especially the unusual ones,
Roger Mayhorn
