[Bristol-Birds] Roan Mountain

On Sunday, 11/30/03, Don Holt and I went to Round Bald
looking for Snow Buntings. We didn't see any buntings but we
enjoyed the crystal clear view while braving 50+/- mph
winds. Of note were 9 Common Ravens flying together just
below Carver's Gap on the Tenn. side. We saw a female Purple
Finch on Burbank Road.
