Kudos go to Bill Grigsby!!
At nearly dark I did not pause to read the log in at Musick's but was 
delighted to read Bill's post here. As I sent my post I received Bill's. I 
called to 
notify Rick Knight of Bill's find and my fortunate follow-up sighting. 
The good news is they were there when I left at dark. The bad news is high 
are expected tonight. Maybe the morning will find lingering Avocets!
As Mary Erwin mentioned my NOrtheast TEnnessee (NOTE) year list definitely 
moved up a notch tonight by my stumbling upon this unexpected gem. (drumroll) I 
now have 198 tics on my 11+ month old area year list. Saturday could  mark a 
milestone in my birding career or just another few miles! Either way I hope to 
be peering through binoculars in search of another tic.
