Fort Henry Dam:
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 7
Brown Creeper - 1
Winter Wren - 1
Middlebrook Lake:
Redhead - 1
Ring-necked Duck - 3
Greater Scaup - 5
Hooded Merganser - 3
Whitetop Creek Park, Bristol, TN:
Vesper Sparrow - 1 *
Swamp Sparrow - 3
White-throated Sparrow - 3
* The Vesper Sparrow was near the pond at Whitetop Creek Park where the
Trumpeter Swan stayed last winter. (The pond has a nice paved trail all around
it now, and a very nice, new and expensive fiberglass sign extolling the
virtues of the park's riparian zone by the creek, or at least the one
twentienth
of an acre of it that was left after the city dug out the rest for a sewer line
that I am sure was much needed. I hafta laff...)
