I had a single drake Gadwall at the Erwin Fishery Park Picnic Area pond today 
(Sunday, Nov. 9). This is the first Gadwall I have seen there this fall. The 
pond is located in Erwin in Unicoi County.
On Saturday, Nov. 8, there were about a dozen Wood Ducks and a single Coot at 
the pond, along with the usual Mallards and Canada Geese.
