Mallard - 6

Most of the buffleheads were in two groups just above the dam. The Canada
geese and mallards were on both sides of the bridge and a flock of about 6
or 7 buffleheads were flying around upstream of the bridge.

(While we were standing at the edge of the bridge about half-way across
looking at the flying buffleheads, a rock dove burst loudly from under the
bridge nearly sending me into flight over the edge! And some poor souls
don't think birding is exciting!)
