Recent birds at Steele Creek Park in Bristol, TN include
Chimney Swift - 10/17/07
Red-headed Woodpecker 10/17
Blue-headed Vireo - 10/17
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 10/16
Yellow-rumped Warbler - daily
Dark-eyed Junco - 10/18
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 10/17
This is Wildlife Weekend! Tonight (Friday) Doug Elliot will perform. Saturday
morning there will be a Bird walk led by Rick Knight at 8:30 and bird banding
By Richard Lewis starting at 9. Doug Elliot will lead a nature walk at 10 am.
More activities are scheduled Friday night through Saturday afternoon. Please
show your support of the park by attending. Everything is free including
refreshments.
