[Bristol-Birds] Red-headed Woodpecker at Steele Creek Park

From about 2:45 to 3:00 pm Wednesday, 10/17/07 I observed an immature
Red-headed Woodpecker near the Nature Center at Steele Creek Park in Bristol,
TN. I thought I might have seen one on Monday. This is the first park record
since 11 Apr 2001 by Don Holt. There were records from Nov 2000 (Rick Knight)
into April. There are no park records for the species prior to that. Today's
bird is the first October record for the park.
