During a quick check of Rasar Farm on the Watauga River in 
Elizabethton, Carter County, TN, at about 11:45 a.m., I had one Marsh 
Wren and four Great Blue Herons. The wren was among a vast stand of 
irises looking as if they were an acceptable substitute for cattails.
