[Bristol-Birds] Common Ravens at Kingsport

At least two Common Ravens continue to be seen in the Kingsport area. Saw
two this morning at the WalMart Superstore on West Stone Drive. I have seen
them occasionally since December, 2002. The observations are split about
equally between downtown Kingsport and the WalMart Superstore area. I saw
two pretty regularly last winter hanging around and perching on buildings
inside the Wearhouser Plant. I saw three flying near the Kingsport Public
Library during the winter of 2004. There is a large rock quarry near the
WalMart store that might be suitable for nesting. I will forward a photo
for the Bristol Bird Club photos albumn to Wallace to post. This photo was
of the first raven I saw in Kingsport at a cardboard recycling center next
to Evergreen Garden Center in December, 2002. Not a great photo (no
competition for Mayhorn!) but it is a raven.
